Rates & Insurance
My fee is $150.00 for the initial appointment and $125 for follow up sessions. I accept cash, check, and credit/debit card payments that are to be made at the time of your appointment.
Insurance- I am able to accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, United Behavioral Health, and Magellan Health Care payments if you have mental health coverage. If you have a different insurance provider, you are welcome to check with them to see if they will accept out of network providers and I can provide a form you can submit to them for financial reimbursement.
To reserve your new client appointment, requires credit card or debit card information, similar to reserving a hotel room. When I make an appointment for a new client, other potential clients are turned away for that appointment time. Your card will be charged the full rate for the session on the day of the appointment, whether you come to the appointment or not. If you cancel this appointment with at least 24 hours notice, there will not be any charges on your card.
For all subsequent appointments, payment is expected at the time of each counseling session. I accept cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards, and HSA cards.
Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy
We respect your time and endeavor to always be on time to give you your full session. We ask that you give mutual respect for our professional time. A scheduled appointment reserves that time only for you. If you need to change your appointment time please allow 24 hours prior notification. The full session fee ($125) is charged for missed appointments that have not been cancelled. Half my fee ($60) is charged for late cancellations, with the exception of emergencies, sudden illness, or weather conditions. These charges apply to all clients, whether you usually pay out of pocket or with insurance for your sessions.
