About Me
Hello! My name is Skylar and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a passion for helping others and would love to help you too! I am a Lubbock native and Texas Tech alumni. When I’m not in therapy sessions, I enjoy playing tennis, working on house projects, and spending time with friends and family. I am married and we have 3 dogs and 1 cat that I love like children. Rates & Insurance
My fee is $150.00 for the initial appointment and $130 for follow up sessions. I accept cash, check, and credit/debit/HSA card payments. Payment is to be made at the time of your appointment.
Insurance- If you have mental health coverage, I can accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Optum, United Behavioral Health, and Magellan Health Care payments. If you have a different insurance provider, you are welcome to check with them to see if they will accept out-of-network providers. I can provide a form you can submit to them for financial reimbursement.
Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy
We respect your time and endeavor to always be on time to give you your full session. We ask that you give mutual respect for our professional time. A scheduled appointment reserves that time only for you. If you need to change your appointment time, please give 24 hours’ notice. The full session fee ($130) is charged for missed appointments that have not been canceled ahead of time. Half my fee ($65) is charged for cancelations made 23 hours – 1 minute before your appointment, with the exception of emergencies, sudden illness, or weather conditions. A form of proof for emergencies or illness will be required to waive fees. These charges apply to all clients, whether you are self-pay or use insurance for your sessions.
